Arizona & California Tour Updates

Gilbert, Arizona: It was a night of asking for Repentance, and blessings from God, with amazing worship lead by Jared Anderson and the Desperation Band. We had an intense prayer time that was focused on freedom from lust and immorality. About 300 in attendance.



Las Vegas, Nevada: A fiery atmosphere, with kids worshiping there hearts out. We found ourselves lead by God asking for and seeing miracles. About 200 in attendance.



Monterey, California: The emphasis of the night was a launching pad for the students to start walking in faith. Jared Anderson lead a tremendous time of worship again, and the response of the students was so receptive. About 300 in attendance.

Flagstaff, Arizona Tour Stop

Notes from DI, Jon Wesson: "An amazing move of God, with great participation with the local church. The Students of Flagstaff stepping out in faith to help press into God. Tonight set a tone for the tour. Amazing worship lead by Brandon Bustamante. You could see the Spirit of God working in the kids through the prayers of the Furnace, and the message that David Perkins preached."

The night was highlighted with worship focusing in on Brandon's, "Jesus, Name Above All Names," and at times the excitement in the worship center saw students jumping up and down and dancing. David Perkins spoke about the blind man not being silent and Jesus calling him and asking what he wants for his persistence and faith. It was great to see a first night attendance of around 200 kids and adults.

West Coast Tour

Every year we head out each spring for a Desperation tour across the country. We are now all loaded in a bus headed for the West Coast, and can't wait to see some amazing things happen. Wahoo!

Okay, we are loading 60 Furnace college students into a bus and hitting the road! We leave tonight at 4am..yikes! Desperation Tours are my favorite! Discipleship on the bus through the day. Ministry at the church by evening and hang time at night!

New Desperation Headquarters

This past month the staff of Desperation moved into their new headquarters in the World Prayer Center on the campus of New Life Church. The WPC has been open for 24 hour prayer since 1998, and is the home of the World Prayer Team.

This new headquarters is a natural fit for David Perkins, who has based not only the Desperation Conference, but also the vision of theFurnace internship on the foundation of prayer.
